has been under the present ownership of Joan and
Denny Schmidt since September 1998. We are conveniently
located across from the Maine Mall in the Ames Shopping
Center. (Exit 7 off the Maine Turnpike)

Bagel Mall Plaza is committed to providing our customers
reasonably priced, consistently high quality food
made from the best available ingredients; prepared
on the premises and served fresh daily by an experienced,
efficient and courteous staff.
Our bagels are boiled before they
are baked (NY Style) and contain no preservatives
or softeners. The main ingredients of a plain bagel
are flour, salt, malt, water, and yeast. Therefore,
our bagels contain no fat and no cholesterol. They
have been voted the #1 bagel in Portland for the past
11 years in the Maine Sunday Telegram Readers Poll.
In addition to bagels, our bakers
prepare daily a variety of muffins, croissants, gourmet
cookies and brownies. They will be happy to bake your
favorites with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice.
We have developed this web site and
activated the e-mail ordering capability to provide
maximum service to our customers. Every day we strive
for quality, value and consistency and pledge to continue
that philosophy indefinitely.
